Wingspan is a competitive, medium-weight, card-driven, engine-building board game from Stonemaier Games.
It's designed by Elizabeth Hargrave and features over 170 birds illustrated by Beth Sobel, Natalia Rojas and Ana Maria Martinez.
The aim of Wingspan is to add different bird species to the habitats on your player board.
As an engine builder game, the birds you collect on your player boards unlock additional effects - the more birds you collect, the more each action will provide in that habitat.
While Wingspan is a competitive game, direct interaction between players is limited, with the food resources being communal.
A very pretty and relaxing game, Wingspan is a great addition to any board game collection and is one that provides great replay ability for groups or an individual.
There are currently two expansions available for Wingspan, adding new birds from Europe and Oceania.
Wingspan is available in store at Games n More, 247 Lords Place, Orange; or online at www.gamesnmoreshop.com.au
