A 100-year-old house in the B&B belt on McLachlan Street has sold for $1,450,000.
The last time it sold, in 2015, it was for $1 million less - $450,000.
Since that sale, however, it has undergone a renovation, and it is now used as an upscale B&B.
White Birch Cottage (circa 1920), at 63 McLachlan Street, is set on a 760-square-metre block.

There is a combustion wood fire in the lounge and dining room area, and original fireplaces in each bedroom.
The private courtyard is paved, with French doors leading to an outdoor dining and entertaining space.
The main bathroom has a bath and double vanity.
