Ready, aim, fire! The indoor playground built on a tennis court opened this morning

It took six council workers a week to construct the Jungle, one of the key elements of the new playground at Orange Indoor Tennis Centre.
The playground opened to the public on Tuesday morning.
The multi-level Jungle arrived from Sydney with no instructions on construction, but staff managed to work out how to make all the pieces fit.
Orange City Council established the indoor playground to give parents something to do during winter when it was too cold to play outside.
Around 20 children were at the centre by 10am, 30 minutes after opening.
The tennis centre has purchased a coffee machine and is serving hot drinks along with food such as chicken nuggets and hot dogs.
Entry is $10.
There is a viewing area with lounges, tables and a wood fire.
Aside from the adventure playground there are mini nets set up for games of bonsai tennis.
Council staff were on hand on Tuesday morning to oversee the final touches.
The indoor play centre's future is now in the hands of the public.
Council had hoped a private operator would establish a centre, however that has not happened.
There is doubt the population of Orange is large enough to sustain a full-time indoor play centre.
The indoor play centre is open seven days a week.
On Monday to Friday opening times are 9:30am to 3pm, Saturdays from 10am to 4:30pm and Sundays from 9:30am to 3pm.
Orange Indoor Tennis Centre is at 9 Palmer Street Orange. Phone 6362 9811.
