Permanent role of principal at Orange High School has been filled

The acting principal of Orange High School, Ali McLennan, has been appointed to the permanent role of principal.

In a statement titled "Important Announcement", the school said: "We are thrilled to announce that Mrs Ali McLennan has been offered the permanent position of Principal at Orange High School through an open merit selection process.

McLennan was relieving principal through out 2023, and prior to that had been in the school's leadership team as head teacher and deputy principal.

"The appointment is a testament to her ongoing commitment to Orange High School," the school said.

"In each of these roles she has shown a wealth of experience and a passion for empowering learners, and a clear vision for the future of the school."
