North Orange retailer heading downtown to larger premises

A retailer at North Orange Shopping Centre is moving downtown to a much larger premises.

Orange Asian Grocery, which is currently located on the outside strip of shops at North Orange Shopping Centre, plans to relocate around May, according to owner Singh Savatphoun.


The fit out is underway, with large freezers being transported from Sydney yesterday.



The shop sells goodies from around Asia, including spices, lotus moon cake, drinks, savoury corn nuts and pork buns.

Orange Asian Grocery has been in North Orange for about four years, Savatphoun said.



The new property, next to Collins Booksellers in a busy part of town, was leased by Chris Gryllis Real Estate.




The site is 249sqm, including a storage area of about 77sqm.


Stormriders is now at 188-190 Summer Street.
