A couple - or friends who don’t mind sharing a bed - wanting to go all-in at Vanfest in December could outlay $2,115 for a tent for two nights and two VIP tickets to the regional musical festival.
And that’s before a drink has been drunk, a meal consumed or a t-shirt purchased.
Tickets for the festival at Mount Panorama on December 2 and 3 go on sale on Thursday morning at 10.
The lineup is headlined by Hilltop Hoods and features Tash Sultana, Tones And I, SIX60, Illy, The Presets, Hockey Dad, Masked Wolf, Mashd N Kutcher and LDRU.
The peak package for those for whom cost is not an issue involves “deluxe glamping”.
The glamping village includes private toilets, fire pits, powered sites and “a village style precinct”.
A two-person Emperor Bell Tent for two nights is $1,199, plus a $49 camping pass for each person.
The tent has a raised bed, memory foam mattress, “high quality” bedding and linens, occasional chair, lighting, rugs, side tables and towels.
There are cheaper tent and camping options. A four-person Bell Tent with single foam mattresses is $999 for two nights (plus camping passes), while a two-person Bell tent with a double foam mattress is $509 for two nights (plus camping passes).
You can bring your own tent, van or caravan. A four-person site is $399 and a six-person site is $599.
Weekend passes for the music only start at $229 for general admission pre-sale.
The weekend VIP passes are $359 (pre-sale) and $409 (final release).
VIP passes include a private themed viewing garden, private bar with premium beverage selections, VIP toilets, merch discounts, phone charging stations and private locker storage.
Tickets on sale via Moshtix.
